Standard sweeps start from £70 including a smoke test and Tim will issue a professional ICS certificate recognised by all insurance companies. We now use the modern method of power sweeping which achieves a cleaner and more efficient sweep than using a traditional brush. As part of the service Tim also cleans the inside of your burner and baffle plates.

It is very important to have your chimneys swept regularly (at least annually) to remove soot and other debris. This will help to keep you protected from dangerous CO emissions, potential chimney fires and ensure that you comply with the conditions of your buildings insurance.

Most insurance companies will no longer pay out for house fire claims caused by chimney fires, unless the chimney was swept by a professional chimney sweep.
